Last month while passing over the bridges of Nemawar and Hoshangabad i'd a heart wrenching experience to see Narmada river almost completely covered with sand fields. There was no water even in the middle of river, only stones were peeping like pimples on the river's face and only a thin stream of water was visible from the bus. Despite being declared a Diabetic nation, we Indians don't want to walk even upto the nearest store & then we join the gym to become fit. Last year tremendous spike was witnessed in automobile industry; there are more vehicles in our roads than the humans. Car is considered a status symbol and travelling in public transport is against our living standard & then we blame on Diwali firecrackers for air pollution. Carrying a fabric made bag (थैली) to hold grocery & vegetables doesn't suit to our class rather we prefer fancy plastic bags & then we start posting msgs of "Save the Earth". We need AC everywhere right from our home to our car to our office to the shopping malls and now even in the buses and trains and then we feel more anxious about the temperature hikes in every summer season. Seriously We've ruined the ecosystem and now we are complaining that why dangerous Panthers, killer Leopards and giant Pythons are invading into our colonies? It's just a beginning dt will soon end the human race.
My mom always keeps a cotton bag inside her hand-bag and puts one in my bag also. She usually avoids to tk polybags from the shop and keeps me telling to do the same. I had to start driving few months back due to sm social and economic pressure bt still i use Auto whenever I go anywhere other than my office and it feels so comfortable, convenient & safe to me. Thankfully a fan with good rotating speed is enough for me. I know doing these things is very difficult for the people who believe in show-off,who like speed & don't wanna stop on the roads even for a minute bt these small things contribute big to actually save the nature.
